Walking in from the entrance
Once you are parked, these landmarks will get you to the Filipino garden and the bahay kubo.
Step 1
Park entrance
Look for the Kepaniwai Heritage Gardens entrance sign under the large tree — this is where you come in from ʻĪao Valley Road.
Step 2
From the roadside
From the road you will see the gardens tucked into the valley. Pull into the park entrance and leave the car here — the walk to the bahay kubo is short.
Step 3
Chinese gate — take the path on the right
One clear landmark is the Chinese gate. Spot it, then take the path on the right-hand side to reach the Filipino garden and the bahay kubo.
Step 4
You will see this
Keep following that path and the bahay kubo comes into view — bamboo walls, thatched roof, and the garden around it.
